Love is a battlefield. No one ever said that love was easy. Loving your spouse, kids, family, even our friends. It’s never easy to love someone. Well, except God. That’s the easiest love you’ll ever find. His love for us endures all. And loving him is the easiest thing you could ever do. But that’s not what I wanted to write about today. Today, I want to speak to all the spouses out there. I love my husband with all my heart. We’re so much alike and have so much in common. That’s what makes our marriage so great but some times I forget that we’re not 100% alike. We do have our differences and won’t always see things the same way. We so easily forget that our spouses have a mind of their own when we get stirred up about something or over excited. When they don’t react the same way we do or the way we expect them to, we sometimes are blinded by our own emotions. Try to keep in mind when you are in those moments to talk it out and listen to your spouse. Be willingly to admit when you’re wrong. Have an open heart and an open mind.
